But the Winner of the most views on my blog is;

"I love my Buddy Burners" 

It tells me that a lot of people, at least 1165, care about how to have a cooking tool for ruffing it. 

And there are some wonderful instructive pages out there on the internet for help in making a Buddy Burner. 

I love the blog post that was done by The Hepworth's.

I am including the picture of their project with this post. 

I really like the starter tab that they included on the top of the little burner can. 

In my post you will see me helping the children,  Matilda and Sarah Sullivan with neighbor friend Morgan Ivie, cooking eggs, toast and hash-browns. 

What you didn't see is that a little fire started on the wood chips in the landscaping. 

And you didn't see Sarah dashing water on the flames and you didn't see the little explosion that erupted, blew up in my face and singed my hair. 

That really did happen and even though I saved tuna cans and home-storage cans for months to make more we didn't cook outside with them again because of the extreme fire danger that was present in our area. 

When I was little I used my Buddy Burner on a picnic table on my patio in my backyard, not on wood-chips. 

You do have to be careful when using any fire source for cooking. 

And pouring water on burning wax is not being careful as Sarah learned. 

Salt, that's what should have been used.

One of My Most Popular Blogs

I adore this block!!

I was reading a blog post about the most popular blog posts that you have written. 

I decided to check again to see which one's that I've done that consistently have gotten 

the most attention.

I have had over 23,560 page views and thought it would be fun to check. 

That's really not very many viewings compared to 

many blogs out there. 

One of my posts that gets a lot of views is 

"My wedding day was the most unhappy day of my life."

It is viewed by people from all over the world. 

The last person visiting that blog post was from Mumbai, Maharashtra. 

Which tells me that there are a lot of 

unhappy brides out there in 

the hinterlands. 

And if you know me you know that I immediately went 

to Google to check this place out. 

Wikipedia says that it is also known by it's former name 

of Bombay India and is the most populous 

city in India 

I have a feeling that Aunt Kate was very sad because of a different

reason than the women from a crossed the world that 

read this story. 

She was sad because she hurt her father. 

Her mother had died and she had been the mother in the home. 

It was time for her to move on as we all must but this is what she said;

"But it almost broke my father up. If it had been my funeral he couldn't have felt worse. When congratulations were in order, he shook Jim's hand and said, with tears coursing down his cheeks, that Jim had taken the best spoke out of his wheel. It almost broke my heart and I would have given anything to have reconciled my father to my leaving."

I feel her pain don't you? 
I never wanted to hurt my father, ever. 

As I'm sure you didn't either.

Orange Pull Aparts and Orange- Marmalade Rolls

I've lost all of my pictures so I am updating this recipe. I am going to send you to another page of Pioneer Women's and you will have two recipes and they are both amazing.
 

Well I was perusing over my blog today and checking the blogs I love and came up with an awesome ones to share. Here where I live orange sticky rolls are a favorite and we get them from Shirley's Bakery in Provo. So when I saw this recipe for pull apart bread and then saw Ree's take on orange pull apart bread I knew we had a winner. At least for the folks where I live. I would leave out the raisins but you can find the recipe and all of the pictures here.

Orange-Marmalade Rolls

Whenever I sew I watch recorded episodes of The Pioneer Women and I find that we eat lots better when I do. :) 

And see the Smucker's jam makes it very simple.
